South Africa International Marketing Project
MBA Global Experience — June 2025
In June 2025, I traveled to South Africa with my MBA International Marketing course as part of a global immersion program. During this trip, our class met with local entrepreneurs, business owners, and nonprofit leaders to gain firsthand insight into South Africa’s diverse business environment, cultural dynamics, and emerging market opportunities.
As our capstone project, each team was tasked with creating or enhancing a business venture tailored to the South African market. My group developed a concept that merged two existing companies—Too Good To Go, a food-sustainability app, and Delivery KA Speed, a leading South African food-delivery platform. The goal was to reduce food waste while improving accessibility to affordable meals in urban communities.
Our final deliverable included a strategic business model, market entry plan, and partnership framework designed to demonstrate how sustainable innovation can thrive in emerging markets.
