I was part of a luxury study abroad trip where I took classes in trend forecasting and luxury fashion. I was able to meet bespoke tailors and learn about the art of leather working and the design process behind designers such as Prada, Salvador Ferragamo and Gucci. This trip introduced me to the detailed and beautiful process of crafting luxury products. Watching the designers hone their craft and learning about the artististry and precision that goes into each unique piece sparked my passion for the industry of luxury goods.
